Frank Becker became involved with emergency preparedness during the Cuban Missile Crisis. During the 1960’s he operated a chain of retail outlets and designed and built housing developments in the Hudson Valley. In 1966, he was elected Co-chairman of the Dutchess County Conservative Party, and ran for the state senate. In 1967, he was appointed the Director of Emergency Housing for the county Civil Defense Agency.

In 1970, he entered the ministry. He presently serves as president of Cross Trainers Ministries, Inc. (www.cross-trainer.org). He was also a school administrator, and for five years co-hosted a Christian radio talk show. He has spent the past ten years as a professional writer. As a hobby, he paints portraits (www.portraitsbybecker.com). He and his wife live in Houston. They have four children and 6 grandchildren.
